Real-time stack
A practical stack map
Real-time application development is not a single framework choice. We document four layers with your team before writing code.
Ingress and session layer
Clients connect through gateways that understand heartbeats, auth refresh, and graceful degradation. We choose protocols based on fan-out, mobile backgrounding, and intermediary proxies — not hype.
Stream and queue layer
Kafka, Redis streams, MQTT bridges, and managed pub/sub each imply different backpressure stories. We size partitions and consumer groups against measured publish rates, not peak marketing numbers.
Processing layer
Stateful operators need explicit watermarks and recovery paths. We implement idempotency keys, deduplication windows, and poison-message quarantines where your domain allows duplicates or not.
Observability layer
Lag histograms, synthetic probes, and trace correlation across services are part of the first release. We align metric names with on-call playbooks your team can run without us.
Engagement shape
This page is our working vocabulary — not a product catalog. When you request a technical review, mention which layer is currently failing (connectivity, backlog growth, or mystery latency).
